This morning, Mayor Copenhaver proclaimed September as National PACE Month. PACE, which stands for Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, allows older adults who qualify for a nursing home level of care to continue living in the community and receive further support to promote their well-being and greater independence. PACE has demonstrated improved health outcomes and greater satisfaction for its participants.
