A groundbreaking was held yesterday for the new bike trail that will connect Arkansas State University to Downtown. The current project will use the Marion Berry Overpass as a means to get over the railroad tracks, but ultimately it will include a dedicated pedestrian flyover bridge for a more direct connection. This is just one piece of the trail system that is planned for Jonesboro, and will help encourage further redevelopment in the area.
